Note:
The calculator uses the IAPWS-IF97 formulation for
superheated steam properties.
Enthalpy is calculated from pressure and temperature,
rather than using a constant specific heat approximation.
The enthalpy of evaporation is calculated from the
difference between saturated-vapor and saturated-liquid
enthalpies at the entered pressure.
For critical engineering/design calculations, verify
results against certified steam tables.
